Donations

All donations made through the website are to be used with local troops only.  I would normally like to go through the local council but I rather know EXACTLY where your thoughtful donations are going.  I want to actually see a boy's face light up when he finds out he can go to summer camp or that high adventure base that his parents told him they couldn't afford.  I want boys to love going camping and not having to worry about sleeping in a tent with missing parts or a tent that isn't waterproof.
I remember multiple times throughout my scouting career, where the above instances happened to me.  It's not fun to sleep in a tent surrounded by water or missing out on Sea Base because your parents could only afford Double H Ranch (sister camp to Philmont that has since been shut down.)  The memories I made during 9 consecutive summer camps will never be forgotten and the people I met and the impression that was left upon me was/is priceless.  The more boys that can partake in this, the better our society will be.
It doesn't have to be much, but a little bit can and will go a long way in this case.  Thank you for your kindness and generosity in helping me to help boys to live the Scout Oath and Law for the rest of their lives.
